E-Type Jaguar 4.2
1964 model (or could be early 1965)
Discovered at Coogee Beach, Sydney, whilst on my summer
ocean-side walking trek, from Bondi Beach to Coogee Beach, stopping for coffee, of-course, at the Lazy Frog Cafe in Bronte. Where else?
Now why, on earth, would Jaguar design a car with a boot that opens like this? Weird science, I say. It would have to be inconvenient in the Westfield carpark! But that being said, a 4.2 litre engine in such a small vehicle, would mean that this E-Type Jaguar would literally fly!
Here's some car jargon:
In 1964, the E-Type received several important upgrades including a 4.2-litre version of the famous XK engine. Other upgrades included a fully synchromesh transmission, new Laycock-Hausserman clutch, revised engine cooling and a new alternator which replaced the generator. (And, I cheekily add, a silly opening boot - ha)
My Canon EOS 5D Mk IV, with the Canon EF 24-105mm f 4/L lens.
Processed in Adobe Lightroom and PhotoPad Pro.

I went to the flea market this past weekend and found 3 vintage lenses for an old Pentax camera. I already had the adaptors to connect these types of lenses to my Nikon. What a steal! This is the Tamron 28mm F/2.5 lens. It is a little gem thus far. :)
PS. I have had this Kazoo forever and was never inspired to use it for a photo. Thanks Macro Monday for inspiring me to do so! :)
I was late getting this done for the black and white group, there will be more made down the road for other types too..

Always nice when you start a gray day on the road, and you drive along a lake, the sky opens up, and you see this!.
Norway, a stunningly beautiful country. Around every corner a chance for a scenic image, forcing me from time to time to stop every kilometer to get out of my car, sometimes with screeching brakes, and sometimes forcing me to curse because there was no place to stop.
Lovely valleys, bare mountains and cold winds, snow packs, glaciers, beautiful lakes, and then there are the enchanting fjords that never stop to amaze. The most beautiful country of Europe, for me no doubt about that, with only one minor aspect, which is the weather. During my month of traveling I only had 4 really nice days, the rest of the time clouds, rain, and very changeable! Still no regret, and I will go back to make even more than the 3500 pictures that I took this time.
Another very active vacation that took me to the south west up to Trondheim in a sort of triangle between Oslo- trondheim and Bergen with the whole route visible here (www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10153668247101759&set...).
First outing (I believe) for this Jaguar E-Type, one of six recently built by Jaguar Heritage using the original run of chassis numbers, and sold for approximately £1.2 million each.
Finished in a stunning shade of blue, the car looked fantastic in the paddock and on track. While some question the legitimacy of these cars being eligible to race, the way these continuation models were built, and with the price of the original cars now at £7 million, this may be the only option if you want to see these kind of cars race nowadays.

1936 Bugatti Atlantic Type 57SC
Most expensive car in the world, this Bugatti sold in 2010 for an estimated $38 - 40 million dollars to Peter Mullin of the Mullin Auto Museum, Oxnard, CA.
Only three Bugatti Atlantic's (a fourth is disputed) were produced. One was destroyed in a train wreck, the other is in the private collection of Ralph Lauren.
