tyler sharp is a fellow phoot camper and real cowboy. he is the real deal born and raised in nocona texas, he rides horses, has a revolver and can round up cattle.
tyler is part of a project that is trying to preserve a piece of texas history: the chisholm trail, it was a trail used in the late 19th century to drive cattle overland from texas to kansas. there plan with the backing of the texas historical commission is to ride the 400 mile trail on horse back with a bunch of photographers and film makers. they will document the trail with the aim of raising awareness of the trail so there will be interest in preserving it for future generations. the project needs backing and they are trying to raise finds with a kick starter project, head on over to there kickstarter page to donate, find out more and see a video of tyler in action

This is Tyler from one of the banks I deal with. Tyler is modeling this Pilot G-2 pen which was on my wish list however I could not remember the model # in order to buy one today. Tyler was so very gracious to give me his. I notice in this photo he is also modeling a pretty blue 2014 Valhalla PGA shirt. I moved the check I just cashed (from my previous retina specalist's refund from monies they held since last year for reasons I do not understand and that is why I have a new eye Dr. now who keeps better books) out of the way of this photo as I was concerned my account information could be compromised,
STORY:
Tyler, co-owner of Beardsgaard Barbers in Batavia, IL. They were kind enough to let me stop by and shoot their awesome shop filled with vintage equipment, old curiosities, and lot of cool and fun stuff.
DETAILS:
Mamiya RZ67 Pro II, Sekor C 110mm f/2.8. Shot at 1/30th @ f/2.8 (I think...forgot to notate exposure in my book, but 1/15-1/30 was where this scene was landing....may have been f/4 or f/5.6) on HP5+ EI400. Developed in Ilford DD-X for 9 minutes at 68 degrees (normal development). Scanned on Epson V600 @ 6400dpi. Image shown direct out of scanner...didn't even bother to crop it other than the rough crop in-scanner....

In celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee weekend i've gone for a themed shot this week...much to Ty's joy! lol. It was kind of rushed in the end and i'm not a massive fan of themed shots like this because i basically lack creativity and i hate indoor lighting.
Plus Ty wasn't feeling very cooperative ( if you couldn't tell by his expression lol ) He'd twisted his paw ( again! ) and was limping around the house and i was making him pose for pictures. He's all better now thankfully.
