If you suddenly found that you travelled back to ancient Egypt and saw the pyramids, what would you say?
I saved most of my copies of those old, rake-ishly romantic Banana Republic catalogs from the mid-eighties. I loved the stories, and the safari mystique. I couldn't always afford their goods, although I did purchase several coat dresses. I haven't shopped in Banana Republic since they pulled out the palm trees!
I am not sure this is either the most comfotable or safest method of travel but at least it takes folk from place to place. Such a different way of life. In Uk the police would have a field day with this!

Sandhill Cranes returning to their winter home at Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge in New Mexico, USA. The reserve provides a home for thousandsof birds to overwinter. The sandpipers spend the day out feeding and retrun to the reserve in the evening to spend the night in the safety of the water.
