In this photographic series, Trapped, I am exploring the state of the human conscience in the present day. Today man has trapped his own conscience somewhere deep within. Our actions, our deeds, and our wishes as a society has no morals to speak of, no ethics to appreciate, and no qualities to look up to. Our souls are trapped inside of us. They look at us and cry at what we have become - pathetic, cruel, and utterly hopeless.

Funnel traps contain pheromone bait, and their design prevents captured insects from escaping. Traps help us document insect presence, like of the red turpentine beetle, the most widely distributed bark beetle in North America. This one is set to capture red turpentine beetles, the most widely distributed bark beetle species in North America.
Thanks to a successful Kickstarter fundraising campaign, we've started work on DIYLILCNC version 2. First up: trapped bearings.
Photography is a wonderful hobby, but sometimes I can feel trapped by the bewildering array of lenses and accessories I seem to have accumulated!
