A phormium leaf trapped in ice overlays autumn leaves. The patterns on the ice attracted me as they refracted light on the surface.

Chris Burden's astonishing tour de force of kinetic sculpture "Metropolis II" is still on show at LACMA where I saw it in May.
I was looking at 'Borders' and came up with personal boundaries, so i looked at peoples personal space in the form of bubbles.
I shot in the studio using a soft box, and then shot my buubles out side of the studio using a bubble gun

Not a man eating plant even if it looks like it
The leaves of Venus' Flytrap open wide and on them are short, stiff hairs called trigger or sensitive hairs. When anything touches these hairs enough to bend them, the two lobes of the leaves snap shut trapping whatever is inside. The trap will shut in less than a second. I have only seen one insect caught in this plant in the 3 years I’ve had it.
I’m told it flowers but up to date I’ve not seen a single flower. I live in hope.
