I suppose it only fitting that life will take root in the structure itself. You see bricks are made from clay and concrete is made from lime, sand and gravel. So, the trees find a way to latch onto the core materials of the building. As they do, with a helping hand from rain and freezing temretures, the once rock hard building materials return to their soil beginnings, providing more material for nature to take root. Nothing goes to waste.
1920's Bathroom
Light walls, White woodwork, a smart pattern in linoleum, modern fittings and colorful towels, sash curtains and bath rug, transform old and dingy bathrooms into attractive modern ones.
When she transformed into a butterfly,
the caterpillars spoke not of her beauty,
but of her weirdness.
They wanted her to change back
into what she had always been.
But she had wings.
-Dean Jackson
A few weeks ago Alex Currie, Valerie Kasinski, Elaina Trapani and I took a little road-trip to Taughannock falls.
Elaina gracefully modeled this set of wings and looked absolutely magical! I made the wings a few weeks prior, they are manually cut, painted, wired, and stitched together by hand. I have a few more test wings to create and then may start selling on etsy!

Only you can change yourself and transform in this way your life and events that happen to you!
Look for more perfect reasons for your actions — and then the Divine Sun will rise in you and illuminate all around you!

The new set 75311 (Imperial Armored Marauder) has been transformed into a Classic Space version, complete with revised guns instead of those annoying flick-fire things. All eight hatches still open, but I couldn't use space seats inside this one, but there are plenty (four per vessel) of 2x2 modified tiles with just enough room for air-tanks in the model... at least I hope that will be the case!
I just need to buy two copies of my digital file as shown, as that's at least $15 total cheaper than buying two sets and recoloring them after the fact using Bricklink. The 4 x 2 Classic space logo print is missing, but that's ok - I don't mind.

My first look at the 6 piece Triplets Brave Doll Set. It was released by the Disney Store on Monday May 14, 2012 online and in stores, along with many other Brave merchandise. It's cost is $19.50 US. The set consists of the triplet princes in kilts as 4 1/2'' tall dolls, and the three bear cubs, as 4 3/4'' tall hollow plastic cases for the princes to transform into cubs. The prince dolls have arms and legs that are molded into fixed positions on their bodies; only their heads can move.
First I photographed the set in the unopened box. Then with the dolls taken out of the box, but still attached to the inner cardboard backing, which slides out of the box like a tray.
The ground was bare when the site was chosen. Slowly addition after addition came to be wrought making a new transformed landscape. A way was made here that stood to honour our ancestors and to praise their contemporaries as they held the balance of year and kept the intent to give themselves as the makers of markers for the futures.
The ground was bare when the site was chosen. At first wooden markers were raised up and set in sockets within the ground and these posts were piled around with the egg like river stones that spoke of the fertile mother and of her elusive lover. The Spring Bolt God who echoed everywhere even as his signature was found as hollowed and hallowed as boundless vibrating Air so his spirit as swift as lightning so fully intense and so fully fledged and fletched as he as the Lord of Thunderbolts needs to be always vigilant and always ready yet also fulfilled as the Green Man that in one session flowers a Season strong enough to turn the Wheel of the Year was also upon the instant to retract, to reduce so much as to seemingly disappear.
The ground was bare when the site was chosen. There were signs on the land here that soil here was barely draped over, these were the signs the natural characteristics that they could follow as they built up the glories of gods and set them in ‘stone bone’ back upon the Earth. The light and shadow marked out the plans by day and the stars confirmed the solar plots and so stone the bone of the land was raised for their ways to be praised longer than many, many lengths of timber lasting days.

Great days the VR era, not so great was the condition of most of them in the latter days (the Cornwall based ones I hasten to add were far worse appearance wise than the Plymouth fleet).... maybe all those rural country roads?!
Any First's slogan of the 'First Transforming Travel' was rather inappropriate when it came to the VRs but I guess it wasn't worth the time and money to really smarten them all up.
Anyway 38928 gained the front grill of 38867 hence the mis-match with the rest of the livery, happily this VR is preserved and will one day I am sure look back to her superb best.

Before the modern LED Lights show on the California Bay Bridge to the City of SF (a.k.a The Gotham City), there was the railroad tracks! We have came along way.
Goal: Attempt to create light trails as railroad tracks and transform the bridge and the city landscape into old vintage feel.
Please let me know what you think. Comments and Critics are welcome :).
Greatly Appreciated - If you like the photo please add as a favorite, of course only if you like it :)

My husband and I were driving to the health club one afternoon, when we came upon this unexpected sight! I was so glad that I had my camera in the car because it was a totally unexpected thing to find!

This started around the white 6 x 6 “train roof” wedge part. I’ve seen it in quite a few builds online over the years and I never owned before so I added a pair to one of previous BL orders so I could see if I could use it myself.

Best in large
I have over 15 000 views on my photostream now, and its a long time since I started on Flickr. And I wonder if I should do this still.
I see some get over 100 and more faves for really bad and cliché photos, but others that make artistic work struggle to get 15 faves. Sharpen up people, do not always please someone cause you can get an invite or fave back. I really dont like that side of Flickr. You should have some critical sense when commenting.
I joined Flickr in may 2010. Since then I have got one picture with faves over 70 (76), 2 pictures with 50 faves, 2 pictures with 40 something faves, 19 between from 30 to 39, and the rest under 30.
And I have posted 1 858 photos from SL and a few rl.
I know that not all of them are good, but I still wonder if its worth all the work I put in my pictures. Maybe I should use the time for something else or somewhere else.
(synthetic raffia) --- --- Ed Rossbach (Chicago, 1914 – Berkeley, California, October 7, 2002) was an American fiber artist. His career began with ceramics and weaving in the 1940s, but evolved over the next decade into basket making, as he experimented playfully with traditional techniques and nontraditional materials such as plastic and newspaper.
Rossbach explored the possibilities of fiber as a material, both on an off the loom. He was strongly influenced by ethnic textiles, including basketry, and often combined ethnic techniques with contemporary materials such as plastic and newspaper. His explorations of three-dimensional forms and basketry as an art form challenged the accepted boundaries of what could be done with craft materials and led to him being considered the "father of contemporary baskets". He has been described as "transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary". (Wikipedia)
