I found this place that calls itself a "clay studio" on the bayfront of Corpus Christi, Texas.It looks interesting, and we will try to visit longer later on. It was rather jammed when we stopped, so we didn't go in.
Strictly speaking the Edward Richard and William Howson Taylor stopped probably stopped making tiles before the name Ruskin was adopted. From 1898 - 1903 their work is marked with Taylor, and they traded under the name of the Birmingham Tile and Pottery Company. The mottled souffle glaze, reminiscent of patterns on a sea shore, is typical of their tiles and many early pieces of pottery.

The new bathroom tiles. Everything still needs a few more wipe-downs to get the dust and film from the grout off, but it's coming along. Might have fixtures back in there by tomorrow too.
