This is a Templar Knight I made a few days ago, and I thought I should post it! I like the way it turned out. It was heavily inspired by R.Goff and his Knight, So I give lots of credit to him. I hope you all enjoy, and if you have any questions, just ask them off in the comment section!

In one corner of the Marca Trevigiana, Temple of Ormelle, close to Oderzo, there is this wonderful Templar church, here really is a different feel, a place to meditate and free their thoughts .....
Andre's (Toxic) and Secutor's Knights have been making me jealous for ages now, so I decided that I would finally get one made.
I opted for a very obvious one to start with and kept the whole design very classic.
I've very happy with it and I can't wait to add a couple more historic figures to my collection (I'm sure that Andre is going to suggest a Teutonic Knight ; )
Hope you like it.

Templars Hall in Old Poway Park has had a storied existence as meeting place for the temperance movement, a high school, a courthouse, a church, a thrift shop and, among other things, during more than a century in Poway and a pair of relocations along Midland Road. Poway, California, USA in San Diego County.
I have this huge box, and I mean HUGE, with many, many unfinished ideas. From time to time I peek inside and look for a good starting point for a new model. This Templar Garden is such. It was just lying there waiting for its time. And the time is now.

At the heart of this construction is a simple Templar plan - a centralised church modelled on the Holy Sepulchre, with a central octagon enclosed in a 16-sided ambulatory. (cf Santo Sepolcro, Pisa: the church of Torres del Rio in northern Spain: or the church of Vera Cruz, Segovia) But later ornament has filled the space and turned it into a dimly glowing treasury of gilded woodwork and rich pigment.
"A Templar Knight is truly a fearless knight, and secure on every side, for his soul is protected by the armour of faith, just as his body is protected by the armour of steel. He is thus doubly armed, and need fear neither demons nor men."
Bernard de Clairvaux, c. 1135
taking an image of what’s in front of you to post to social media, essentially to prove “you were there”, in the Grand Tour tradition, is no longer enough. I see now more and more that we have to include ourselves, combining the 144 characters of me + event for the sake of internet brevity. I recently was reading a (web) article about the Rise of the Disaster Survivor Selfie.
