My first ever visit to Cheltenham Races today (Fri 14/03/2025) and, well, what a baptism of fire that turned out to be! A popular event with bus enthusiasts, there is a bombardment of buses, coaches and minicoaches coming from all directions. There are 3 main coach parks (situated some distance from one another), a compound for Nat Ex / Johnsons / Marchants coaches, plus the makeshift bus station for the Stagecoach shuttle buses! Here is a selection of what I saw - next year I will be more organised!!

Convento de Cristo -Tomar, Portugal - October 1999
The Convent of the Order of Christ (Portuguese: Convento de Cristo), in Tomar, Portugal, was originally a Templar stronghold built in the 12th century. After the Order of the Knights Templar was dissolved in the 14th century, the Portuguese branch of the order was turned into the Knights of the Order of Christ, which supported Portugal's maritime discoveries of the 15th century.
The Convent of Christ of Tomar is one of Portugal's most important historical and artistic monuments and has been in the World Heritage list of UNESCO since 1983.

I can't say why I shot this picture. There was just something about the details and the contrast not only in colors but in style between the traditional British hotel and pub and that vivid Chinese restaurant.
This is cropped down from a single Raw image.
Temple Church in London - panograph style! My first panograph, already I can see where I'd improve the method of taking the source photos and just how many actually need to be taken. Hopefully not too obvious though this was taken in two runs; the second a 'patch the holes' run which didn't have as much of a negative impact on the final piece as I had thought it would. Not a truly natural panograph there was some Photoshop adjusting of the second run for colour matching.
