I saw these birds in a large puddle down at Hamilton waterfront. I had my large Sony with the large lens on (which was good) but no tripod to help steady the beast (which was not good)
Half of them good and half not.
Hearing of Glen Campbell's passing has bothered me. I do feel sad when any great musician passes, but he was seriously one very important musician. Part of the wrecking crew in L.A. and very influential. Good friend to Alice Cooper.
A horrible thing for a family to go through. His Daughter wrote this song and it is moving. You WILL get a tear in your eye.

This beautiful hibiscus originated in Syria...and now the country is in ruins..lives, homes, . fields destroyed..maybe forever. The news cycle has forgotten the eyes of the little children traumatized by the complete destruction of their childhood This horrible war should be an example to us all..absolute and brutal power is not the answer to a simple request for freedom . you can help by supporting the White Helmets...the search, rescue and medical teams.
Homage the tragedy being experienced by Brazil.

This past Monday we headed down to San Diego for the Memorial Day ceremony at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. There was an American flag and a rose at each and every grave. It was chilly and there was a pretty heavy sea mist coming in off the Pacific leaving all of the roses covered in "tears from heaven."
