This youngster has been flying around my hill with his mum, for the past few weeks. They call to each other as, I assume, she is showing him how to hunt.

Here, he was sitting on a telegraph post, continually calling for his mum, who was very conspicuous in her absence. Maybe she had gone hunting by herself - or maybe she thought the time had come to loosen the apron strings and let junior get on with it by himself. Such a sad, sad sight. He was was still there, hours later, as I was returning home.

Poor wee soul!

It took me quite a while to get over my stupid mistake from this mornings shoot, as I lost almost all of my images.

It was captured a while ago at one of my favourite locations on Holy Island and is a poignant reminder of that morning.

It was certainly a steep learning curve, no doubt one that has been made by many togs before.

The memorial by the artist Dani Karan in the Tiergarten commemorates the Sinti and Roma who were murdered under National Socialism. I wanted to thank you all for your response to my last post. We tried freezing

the harddrive and that did not work as it will not boot up! We are now looking

into data recovery and see what we can come up with. Hopefully we can find

something and get the photos back.. Fingers crossed!!
