Another of the beds of flowers going into the distance were these lovely Snapdragon flowers in mixed shades of pink making a beautiful tapestry. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antirrhinum_majus
We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color.

An amazing mix of trees on a hillside in Paris Canyon, Idaho. There are mountain maples, aspens spruce, pines, junipers, sagebrush, and more on the hillside.
One of the lesser-visited arches in Arches National Park. Like with all alcove arches it was a little difficult to find a good angle. Span is reported as 46 feet.
Walking under the shade of this lovely avenue of trees brought a sparkling tapestry, watercolour painting effect. The shade is very welcome at the moment. On the path to the Serenity Point Lookout, having passed the Cherry Tree Avenue that I missed when in blossom during the spring. HSS

In spite of this noble, yet challenging function, the façade expresses a bright and structured playfulness through the colourful window shutters in many different positions in combination with the reflective / glazed surface of the bricks.
I waited patiently in one spot that I particularly like in Hallerbos forest for the first sun rays to lit up the tree trunks. Now that I see the result of this panorama it looks to me a bit like a woven tapestry, an intricate pattern of light, shapes and colours. I just loved this forest in Spring, one feels so invigorated.
