Vas;ka is always prepared to eat something from our food. Therefore he is always the first to be at the table at lunchtime.

A shiny cafe-table on Hindley Street, at dusk this evening. I had to resort to using my iPhone as my compact zoom camera was out of battery juice.

I’m thinking maybe a return to iPhone camera might be in order as it does make posting so easy. These days, my work-life balance is totally out of control and I need to get back to posting on Flickr.

Easy to see how this flat-topped mountain got it's name.

 

I wanted the sun to light up the sloping hill covered with arrowleaf balsamroot to enhance the shot. Took awhile but glad it finally did. Impressive tops to many of the mountains in central Oregon.
