Weather update:
A frontal system had approached our coastline this day. This system had limited moisture but was to spread light precipitation over NorCal this day. This is a cold system as well, so low snow levels were expected. Rainfall amounts from this system were to be light. The precipitation was forecast to end by Monday morning and skies were to be clearing. Then by late Tuesday and Wednesday, another low pressure area was to brush the north end of the state. No rain was forecast to fall for us here in the Bay Area. We were in a dry pattern for now but looks like more rain was forecast to arrive as we begin 2016...
While the tub was at Project 7 getting the hole in the floor fixed, the guys put together the sub systems (Engine/trans, front and rear suspension) so when the tub was ready the car could be "quickly" assembled.

There was a little stream filled with soda. You put 75 cents in a bucket and took a soda on the honor system.
One system of tunnels that is open to the public on a regular basis, normally the first weekend in September each year, are the tunnels beneath the village of Bouzincourt. These tunnels cut into the chalk had been used to hide both villages and their cattle and then during WW1 they became a billet for troops. Spending long periods of time resting in the tunnels, British and Commonwealth soldiers covered the walls with memorials to their lost comrades and their own names and those of their units. Many of these fragile inscriptions are written in field pencil, while others are cut into the chalk.
