As part of the BSA CubeSat Demonstration Program, students designed and built small-scale satellite systems to collect and store atmospheric data. While the tub was at Project 7 getting the hole in the floor fixed, the guys put together the sub systems (Engine/trans, front and rear suspension) so when the tub was ready the car could be "quickly" assembled.

Marlette Lake Water System

The Marlette Lake Water System was created to provide water for the silver mining boom in Virginia City, Nevada. These structures are now listed as a Historic Civil Engineering Landmark by the American Society of Civil Engineers. The listed area included two contributing buildings and 12 contributing structures on 135.4 acres . It has also been known historically as the Virginia City Gold Hill Water Company Water System.
The mines required large amounts of water and timber to supply the houses and mines. To feed these mines, Marlette Lake, Hobart Reservoir, and Spooner Lake were built, and a number of flumes and pipelines were built to funnel the water down to Virginia City. The trail where the flume was located is now a trail for mountain biking and hiking.
The water system is now located inside Lake Tahoe-Nevada State Park.
Turns out she thought it'd've taken longer to have made it through the health inspections so she hadn't, obviously, planned on my getting out as soon as I had. After we sqwee'd a bit more I told her where I was and she 'sisisi'd' and soon we met up! I almost didn't recognize her, what a shock, it was amazing.
Anyway, this station was two escalator rides down and a nice loop from where I'd come out of immigrations.
