The Swifts have been flying above Folkestone for the past couple of weeks, and it looks like the same pair which I have seen here for the past few years are back again.
They are either roosting or nesting in a building opposite my studio, and I normally get some notice as to when they are about to head in as they will fly by a few times and let off some of their high pitched calls.
They have been arriving around 6.30pm (ish) and will give each other a good 20 second + gap before one follows the other in.

With Runyon at his favorite place on earth - Swift Run Dog Park (near the intersection of Platt and Ellsworth and across the street from Lillie Park). Went to Swift Run early in the morning on Friday December 31st, 2021. Short stay there as it was tough to move around with water and mud everywhere. Colder temperatures will (hopefully) fix this!
