Chocolate chiffon, coffee chiffon and vanilla chiffon layers moistened with coffee flavored tres leche sauce, and sandwiched together and covered with mascarpone filling. Tinted mascarpone with cocoa and coffee to ombre the sides.
She said, "where is the ice cream?"
I said, "what ice cream?"
She said, "the ice cream I just bought yesterday."
I said, "I don't know."
After visiting Adriano Zumbo's (of Chanel Ten's Masterchef fame) Patisserie yesterday this is all I had left to photograph...the fondant and scroll were delicious :)
We had to que for half an hour to get into the shop but the taste if worth it. The que built the suspense all the more I think!

a perfect one costs too much, so i got a broken one and put him on an obitsu body. had to sand down the lower-leg pegs to fit the obitsu legs, but that was the only real modding needed...
i could use suggestions if his neck is ok this way or needs some modding. i've just popped the obitsu neck peg into his head-hole with doublesided tape to make it stay. it's working sort of like a bobblehead right now. i didn't put any blob on the end of the neck peg, but i need to, once i decide if the length is ok.
