Its the softest thing I've eaten so far.
Fact: They're made from gelatin, which is derived from animal's bones. Something so soft from something so hard??
My car thermometer read -19 F this morning going to drop my son at his theater competition. I wanted to get out and take some photos but when its like this I just want to be home with my slippers on doing some putzy things. This is all I could come up with so far, lol! This is for my friend George that lives in a country that doesn't know the beauty of Peanut Butter M&Ms, hehe *dangles a bag in front of the screen*
SAH and I have been going retro in our gaming as of late. Partly due to financial constraints, partly just because it is fun. Most notably we revived Twisted Metal II and Twisted Metal: Head On. Nothing like homing napalm to put a smile on your face.

When I was in Finland this July, my cousin's wife Heidi served me one of my favorite things in the whole world: home-baked donuts.
We had coffee and donuts on the patio, so that's nice outdoor sunshine on them, and even the bees were starting to notice that there was something extra delicious in the neighborhood. If you click on the photo to enlarge it, you can see every individual grain of sugar. I won't do that anymore because it makes me drool! I loved the donuts, thanks, Heidi.
Kiitos Heidi, munkkisi olivat taivaallisia!

FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa. -- Members of the Pennsylvania National Guard and Department of Military and Veterans Affairs held an ice cream party on July 10, 2012, in honor of 21-month-old Ryan Roberts, who passed away July 8.
Ryan's parents, Pennsylvania National Guard engineer Staff Sgt. Erik Roberts and his wife Diane, were checking off a 'bucket list' for Ryan when they came up with a creative response for people who asked what they could do to help: “Go out and create a memory with your kid. Throw a banana split on the table for dinner,” Diane said. “Wouldn’t you remember having banana splits for dinner one night when you were a kid?”
The simple act of having ice cream instead of a meal has become a nationwide tribute to Ryan located on the Facebook page at:

a perfect one costs too much, so i got a broken one and put him on an obitsu body. had to sand down the lower-leg pegs to fit the obitsu legs, but that was the only real modding needed...
i could use suggestions if his neck is ok this way or needs some modding. i've just popped the obitsu neck peg into his head-hole with doublesided tape to make it stay. it's working sort of like a bobblehead right now. i didn't put any blob on the end of the neck peg, but i need to, once i decide if the length is ok.

day 9: overindulged. having given up beef, chicken and pork for a month, i found myself eating foods high in carbs. *sigh*

365 Project: Day 9
These are my tennis shoes. I struggle every day to put them on. They beckon for me no matter where they are in the house—from the moment I roll out of bed until the moment I crawl back in at night. We could be on opposite ends of the earth, and I know I’d still hear them calling.
Sometimes...
•I plug my ears and go, “la la la la,” and pretend I don’t hear anything.
•I go over and pick them up, sigh, and throw them in the corner against the wall.
•I’m riddled with unrelenting guilt when I ignore them.
Sometimes...
•I feel like such a hypocrite when people ask me how I’m so disciplined.
•I feel like such a fraud because I struggle just like everyone else.
•I don’t even want to get out of bed.
Sometimes...
•I’m stressed out and cry for no reason.
•I’m crabby and I don’t know why.
•I feel like frumpty dumpty.
Sometimes...
•I want to not feel guilty for my sweet tooth.
•I want to lose that last X amount of pounds.
•Those “Sometimes...” moments make me not want to be around me.
Sometimes...
•I just don’t WANNA!
Sometimes the only solution to any of these ailments is to make a decision to lace up my tennis shoes, be the boss of my body, and make it sweat... a lot. I’m always glad when I do.
Psalm 27:14 ~ Stay with God! Take heart. Don't quit. I'll say it again: Stay with God.
1 Cor. 9:26-27 ~ I don't know about you, but I'm running hard for the finish line. I'm giving it everything I've got. No sloppy living for me! I'm staying alert and in top condition. I'm not going to get caught napping, telling everyone else all about it and then missing out myself.
When the blood sugar hits its low in the afternoon, there is nothing better than coffee & cookies :)
ODC - "burst of color"
The lady at the store today thought I was crazy when I brought up about four bags of Skittles and four packs of Starburst. It doesn't get much more colorful than this...

One of my favorite places in Vegas to go and also to take out of town guests is to Oscar's Beef Booze & Broads for cocktails & a nosh in the lounge. It still has the old Vegas feel but with modern food & drinks. The vanilla creme brulee is so velvety smooth you might want 2.
