Rwanda's Green Fund invested in Rweru Green Village by providing water tanks, including this one which is connected to mains water to serve the community in times of drought.
In 2010, Living Earth Foundation launched the pan African Waste to Wealth programme. The project responds to specific challenges faced by poor people living in urban slums in Africa.
The programme encourages all sectors of society to develop collaborative solutions to tackle the challenges of waste management. We support entrepreneurs, micro enterprises, social ventures and community groups to generate an income through waste recycling, and to develop public private partnerships with local government to improve waste collection and waste management in poor slum areas.
Living Earth’s Waste to Wealth programme is funded by the European Union, the UK Government’s Department for International Development and Comic Relief, and is currently active in Cameroon, Nigeria, Uganda and Sierra Leone.

It seems to me that "gender equality" has a tendency to mean "gender equalisation" which in the mouth of Westerners, who believe in "mankind," tends to mean, "let's be men." Lets all be involved in economic activity, and not care work. Lets all learn from books and not from relationships. Lets all be economically independent rather than forming mutually supportive relationships. Let's have women become workers, managers and politicians, as if such roles are superior to those held by women currently, rather than protecting the right and ability of everyone to do what they they want to do. This march toward male dominant hermaphrodie seems to me to be demonic.
The above image is loosely based on the UN SDG 5 symbol for "gender equality". Should anyone wish that this image be removed from the net, please leave a comment or contact me via the email link at nihonbunka.com.

The Cycad, known to Tongans as the "Longolongo" tree has been listed in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species (www.iucnredlist.org/details/42064/0).
Though habitat loss due to commercial agriculture and human settlement, has been brought forward as the main cause of the demise of the species, senseless cutting down of leaves for decorative purposes is also another cause.
This was taken at my home.
