That night, we were eating dinner at the Foster's, and Dr. Steve got called into the hospital for emergency surgery. A two day old baby who had been born without an anus was brought into the emergency room. The poor thing had an accute abdomen and was in need of relief.

After 6 months of fairly intense pain, there seems to be only a little gain...
I think the problem is that I was in such intense pain after the surgery and during therapy that we missed the 'window' where the therapy could make a difference. Hand therapist tried to strike a balance between pain and gain, when she should have gone for the pain first, then the gain.

Well, I had surgery to remove my tonsils today. I'm very sore and can only eat jello or icecream. But I'm basically stuck on my couch. Also, for BrickFair and BrickFest I'm not sure about them. Money is tight right now because the surgery and not many people need basements,bathrooms, or kitchens redone right now (my dad's a contractor). I'm still building my part for HomeFront though.
I'll try and get something done in two weeks or so. Bye for now! :)
