Perfect battle of two Air-conditioned trains at split level tracks on one of the beautiful location of Central Railway... seen here is 2014 made, Itarsi (ET) WAP-4 # 22991 curving in and out with perfectly on-time running, 12520 Kamakhya - LTT AC Superfast Express and further crossing with 1996 made, Kalyan (KYN) WCAM-3 # 21882 hauled 12188 Mumbai CST - Jabalpur Garib Rath Express. Thank to the LP of red beast for honking at us. Look at the split level tracks which continue further for 2-4 Kms and from this place you can see train ascending and descending this scenic region up to 5-6 Kms which is located near Khardi on Kasara route.

The name Poorva signifies the eastern part of India. It is a very good train after Rajdhani for travellers of Bihar, Jharkhand & West Bengal. The Train has been allotted a 22 coach rake of LHB Coaches, which started running from 30 April 2013 on allotment basis. Now the maximum permissible speed of this train is 130.00 km/h. Poorva Express is hauled by a single WAP 7 electric locomotive of Howrah shed in its entire plight on Howrah Delhi main line section !

About 12041 HWH-NJP Shatabdi Express : Being the 'Fastest Shatabdi Express of India', The Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Shatabdi Express is a superfast express fully AC train connecting Kolkata and Siliguri. It is also the fastest train in the Howrah-New Jalpaiguri section covering a distance of 566 km in a span of 8 hours. The train runs at an average speed of 72 km per hour (excluding halts). It is the fastest fully diesel hauled train in India succeeding Pune-Secunderabad Shatabdi, with a top speed of 135 kilometers per hour. The train is hauled by a matching WDP 4/WDP 4B/WDP 4D of Siliguri diesel locomotive shed as the Barddhaman-New Jalpaiguri section has not yet been electrified completely. It always gets LHB Coaches. The train comprises 7 AC Chair Cars, 1 AC First Class coach & 2 End-On-Generation Cars.

Central Railway Loco Workshop, Parel (Parel) made Vatva (VTA) WDM-3D # 11539 ready with MAS bound, Ahmedabad - Chennai Central, 19420 Chennai Express at Ahmedabad Junction. This train has complicated rake sharing with Azimabad Express and Janmabhoomi Express wherein coaches are being added for these two trains and deducted for Ahmedabad Chennai Express. Train departed 10 mins late from ADI at 9:50 AM as late clearance given by Hisar-Bandra Superfast Express. However we reached bang on time 4:50 PM at Vasai, i.e. 7 hours with average running speed of 63.64 Kmph. This train has too much of slack in between Vasai and Chennai.

This compilation video showcasing one locomotive and this is in demand with two different trains in one single day. The locomotive seen in both videos is Ex Ghaziabad, Vadodara (BRC) WAP-7 # 30473 with Siemens Hotel Load and P\7 graphics on both sides. In first video this locomotive seen with famous NWR train from Jodhpur to Bandra, aka 12479 Suryanagari Superfast Express speeding through Gholvad. Train was slightly delayed by 25 minutes. After completing journey at Bandra, loco rushed to Dadar to take charge of yet another NWR train. Hence same locomotive captured again at Umbargam Road wherein it was accelerating after completing TSR with 12490 Dadar-Bikaner Superfast Express which runs via Palanpur, Bhildi. This means, this particular loco was quite busy on this day as it must have taken charge of Suryanagari Express from Ahmedabad Junction before its departure time of 03:55 AM and then after reaching Bandra, it rushed to Dadar (through Bandra slum line) to take charge of another train which was running 20 minutes behind him. Post reaching Dadar, it took charge of Bikaner Superfast till Ahmedabad which has arrival time of 10:05 PM. Post reaching ADI it must have taken rest if not assigned with other duty of Mumbai bound trains in night.
