It was just stunning view of seeing aggressive train making some aggressive move. August Kranti Rajdhani was running late by 6 hours and 15 minutes as it started late from Nizamuddin at 22:45 previous night. It overtook 12284 Ernakulam Duronto, 12248 Yuva Express and was closely followed by 22210 New Delhi - Mumbai AC Duronto Express.

As of now this train running with Diesel locomotive from Kochuveli to Vadodara Junction for 1864 Kms and from there on with Electric locomotive till Dehradun which is 1288 Kms. From cost prospective IR can change traction for this train from Diesel to electric on Kochuveli ā Cannanore which is 493 Kms and from Cannanore to Panvel on Diesel locomotive which is 962 Kms and then back to Electric from Panvel to Dehradun which is 1697 Kms., so total 2190 Kms can be converted from Diesel to Electric. However, this will hated by all Diesel lovers. This train also has slip coaches for Haridwar.
