TKD WDP-4B 40076 hauling dead Erode WAP-4 22794 with Route Diverted 12688 Dehradun - Madurai Superfast Express.
As this train is diverted via Shamli which is not electrified, so Electric locos are in Shut down mode and Diesels are in Live mode.
Beautiful looking WAP7 30332 from ELS,RPM at the helm of 12676 Kovai Superfast Express patiently waits and leaving way for WDP4B 40063 in LHF from DLS, GOC towing 16860 MAQ MS Express. Later, 12676 trashed 16860 at PLMD.
19577 Tirunelveli Hapa Bi weekly Superfast express blasts past Kochuveli well above 95 kmph with a handsome AJJ WAP-1 22003 taking the lead. The 21 coach was just too easy for this monstrous WAP-1 !

First time on my channel, the longest Container train. 23 Coach long Passenger Train looking tiny in front of Longest Container Train. Seen here is Vatva (VTA) WDM-3A # 14098 āVelocitiā striking down towards to Viramgam Junction towing 23 coach long SER train, 22830 Shalimar-Bhuj Superfast Express and further crossed with lengthiest train of Indian Railway, Python Container lead by Ex Bhagat Ki Kothi, now Sabarmati (SBI) WDG-4 # 12231 (original cab). This train consist two container trains with 9 sets each of 5 containers, which comes to 90 Containers and 2 cabooses, 1 for each rake. Entire train length will be more than 1 km long and this much heavy load was carried by 1 single locomotive of 4000hp EMD GT46MAC model. Iāve seen this kind of Python under electrified line but all the time it was carried by Mueād freight locomotives in front and single freight locomotive in middle after caboose of first rake which comes to more than 10000hp. All these power are energized all the time so that they can separate both trains at any given point of time. However, in this case the entire train was pulled by single monster WDG-4; commendable job.

Kanpur WAP-4 pulled in 3 Hours late running 12403 Allahabad-Jaipur Superfast Express at Agra Cantt which then shut down and was dragged behind the train in opposite direction. 12315 Sealdah-Udaipur Ananya Superfast Express led by a ER's own Howrah (HWH) WAP 4 passes through Baruipara (BRPA) towards Barddhaman (BWN) in dense fog of January noon at good speed !
The Ananya express is an Indian Railways Superfast class train running between Kolkata (Sealdah) and Udaipur city. It covers a distance of 2,141 km at an average speed of 60 km per hour, travelling through the Indian states of West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. It connects Eastern India with tourist spots such as Agra, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur and Ajmer. The service formerly ran between Sealdah and Ajmer, but was extended through to Udaipur. The train is hauled by a WAP 4 class locomotive from Howrah to Sawai Madhopur (SWM) Junction, and from there to Udaipur city by a Bhagat Ki Kothi (BGKT) WDP 4/4B/4D class locomotive of Indian Railways.

About 12041 HWH-NJP Shatabdi Express : Being the 'Fastest Shatabdi Express of India', The Howrah-New Jalpaiguri Shatabdi Express is a superfast express fully AC train connecting Kolkata and Siliguri. It is also the fastest train in the Howrah-New Jalpaiguri section covering a distance of 566 km in a span of 8 hours. The train runs at an average speed of 72 km per hour (excluding halts). It is the fastest fully diesel hauled train in India succeeding Pune-Secunderabad Shatabdi, with a top speed of 135 kilometers per hour. The train is hauled by a matching WDP 4/WDP 4B/WDP 4D of Siliguri diesel locomotive shed as the Barddhaman-New Jalpaiguri section has not yet been electrified completely. It always gets LHB Coaches. The train comprises 7 AC Chair Cars, 1 AC First Class coach & 2 End-On-Generation Cars.

2013 made Itarsi (ET) WAP-4 # 22952 charging down with weekly 18610 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Ranchi Express for its next (technical) halt at Kasara through scenic Asangaon, Central Railway. This weekly express has RSA with 22845/22846 Hatia - Pune Superfast Express and has strange route to reach Ranchi. It takes longer route via Bhusaval - Itarsi - Jabalpur - Katni - Allahabad - Varanasi - Mughal Sarai - Gaya - Bokaro Steel City to reach Ranchi, ignoring shorter route of Bhusaval - Amravati - Nagpur - Raipur - Bilaspur - Rourkela to reach Ranchi. Notice the Asangaon bound train blocking the Up main line for time being till it departs as Mumbai CST bound train as this station does not have spare station.

Under bright sunny day first seen is Ex Valsad, Kalyan (KYN) WCAM-2 # 21865 honking and cautiously curving down towards to Pune towing 12127 Mumbai CSMT - Pune Intercity Superfast Express as last run of ICF coaches. The other train seen crossing is 17032 Hyderbad-Mumbai Express behind Kalyan (KYN) WDM-3D # 11362. Change in weather, under cloudy and drizzling condition, Kalyan (KYN) WCAM-3 # 21882 aggressively charging down towards to Mumbai towing 12128 Pune - Mumbai CSMT Intercity Superfast Express as first run of brand new LHB coaches. Notice the lightning strikes when 3rd and 4th coach is passing by and train in siding is 19311 Pune-Indore Express (via Panvel).
Jumbo looking Howrah (HWH) WAP 4 #22772 (Ex. GZB) pulls bang on time running 12319 Kolkata Chitpur-Agra Cantonment Weekly Superfast Express through Dankuni (DKAE). After completed the turnout from Rajchandrapur & CC link cabin side, the train picked up speed towards its first stop Durgapur. It just passed by the station & xings with a Howrah bound EMU local from Barddhaman side at decent speed ! The loco was a Ex. Ghaziabad, now Howrah ELS AOHed loco !

Two chuggers from the famous loco shed of South Central Railways - GOOTY WDM-3D 11114 & 11351 (lashed together) departs from DBG with Bihar Sampark Kranti Express bound to New Delhi. Due to yard remodeling and interlocking works going on at Tundla, train was diverted for a week, via Burhwal - Sitapur City - Roza and was hauled by diesel locomotive throughout the journey. Luckily, 12566 Dn Express came here with these two locomotives previous night, on Oct. 17, thousands of kilometres far-off from their southern zone! (October 18, 2019)

About Coromandel Express : The Coromandel Express is an important prestigious superfast train which runs down the east coast of India between Howrah station (HWH) in Howrah (Kolkata) and Chennai Central (MAS) in Chennai daily. It is one of the first earliest superfast express in the history of IR. The Eastern Coast of India along the Bay of Bengal is called the Coromandel Coast and hence the name was given to this train, as it traverses the entire length of the Coromandel coast. This train belongs to the South Eastern Railway Zone. Most of the people going to Chennai prefer this train as the train arrives early than Howrah Chennai Mail. The train runs jampacked throughout the year. The train has CBC coupling which gives passengers easy journey with safety while travelling. This train is hauled by CLW manufactured WAP 4 class electric locomotives maintained by Electric Loco Shed Santragachi (SRC) of South Eastern Railway from Howrah to Visakhapatanam and thereafter by Royapuram (RPM) based loco to Chennai.

After a gap of 2 months, shining WAP4 22648 from Electric Loco Shed, Erode banks on curve and cruises towards Podanur with 12677 KSR Bengaluru - Ernakulam Intercity superfast express.
PS.: I'd mentioned both as accident victims because ED WAP4 22648 met in accident near AJJ while towing MAS bound Yercaud SF on May 15, 2017 and ERS bound 12677 led by Erode WDM3A Twins derailed between AEK and HSRA on Feb 13, 2015.
Some rare event happens in winter season due to fog in northern India. One example of it is seen here in this picture wherein Bhusawal (BSL) WAP-4 towed 12148 Hazrat Nizamuddin - CSMT Kolhapur Superfast Express which was running late by almost 8 hours. Immediately Ex. Kalyan, Pune (PUNE) WDM-3D # 11375 took charge from behind as train is reversing direction from here. Loco Pilot was testing light and emergency flasher and one of those moments captured herein in winter sunshine afternoon. Same train will return from CSMT Kolhapur as 11050 Ahmedabad Express.
