Looks like it will be open within 24 hours..

The sunflower's time is over, but they still stand there fighting for the powers of the weather.

Hear them when they’re in full bloom... whispering to the sun... glowing out her light... swaying together with the wind in a mesmerizing motion... cradling the breeze... fascinating the eyes... charming the souls... it’s the field of stars...

Have a wonderful week ahead!! ♥

Have a Happy Sunday!

Fields of sunflowers are a photographers delight, and this field is in full glory.

Fellow photog Bill Matuszewski turned me on to the location of one awesomely large and bright sunflower field. If you live in mid-Michigan find the corner of Gordonville Rd. and Homer Rd, west of Bullock Creek H.S. and south of Midland.

I'd call it a daisy, but it belongs to the sunflower family. What a fitting family name...sunflower!

It was a 2.5 hour mission to find these sunflowers, and when I did, they were a sea of 'yellow bliss'.

Best viewed large on black.
