Taken just over a month ago at 10pm on the way back from an evening visit to Wastwater; it feels like the nights are really starting to rolling in as I type this at nearly 9pm and it's already dark outside. On the plus side, it means some lovely autumn colours are just around the corner

This was mostly serendipity! I noticed the sunset and snapped a couple of shots while the sun was still above the horizon as I drove downtown to get a shot of something Asian for the scavenger hunt. I couldn't find a parking space heading south on Main, so I turned west on a side street and couldn't help taking one more shot of the setting sun. Turned out it was better than the three I had taken earlier!
