Leave your parkas, bring your sunblock.

So this is pretty much what hard work looks like... blisters and painted hands. If you could have seen me today, I was covered in dirt, paint, blisters, and sunblock. Dirt feels twice as bad when it sticks to the sunblock your wearing. This is not a complaint by any stretch... I love hard work and I love yard work.

Day 54 - Can't wait for sunny days to use this Coppertone Sport sunblock lotion.

(Theme: Moments)

Happy April! New month means new theme. April has many happy moments for me, such as Easter and blooming season. Plus it’s also my birthday month. This moment here marks the halfway point of this self-portrait project. It’s also an update on the resolution I made in Week 16 and an attempt to disprove the misconception that vegan people are unhealthy and don’t get enough protein in their diets.

But most importantly I wanted to use this moment as a PSA. Now that the weather is getting warmer, many of us are looking forward to being out in the sun. Just make sure to protect your skin with some sunblock. It’s a little disconcerting the number of people I’ve known lately that have had some type of preventive surgery when diagnosed with skin cancer. Have fun out there, just splash on that sunscreen (especially on children)! It keeps you healthy and looking young. :D

While Punsir was away, I ate terribly. Between being lonely and working long hours, it was easy to justify cookies, french fries, mayo and diet cokes. As a beloved friend noted, when I'm tired or sad, I seek comfort from food.

Since purchasing a scale this weekend, I'm already down a few pounds. It's probably all water, but it's inspired me to make a big salad for dinner tonight, instead of our usual pasta.

Thanks alison and uuvee!

Going to try this out, since its highly raved about in Taiwan's show Nu Ren Wo Zhui Da and in the reviews that I read.
