Spending all day inside working means that in your lunch hour you feel compelled to go and sit outside. Today was ROASTING and i didn't have any sunblock on so I had to sit in the only shady spot I could find in the little seating area outside the mall where I like to sit. While I was eating my sandwhich (which I have to mention was prepared by my local sandwhich artist with the most delicious bread I have tasted from this particular eatery) a family of women came and sat near me also wanting some shade. They were all enjoying ice creams and the two smallest girls were having Choc Bars (here I have to commend their fantastic choice in frozen delights). I noticed that while they were all eating the two wee ones were losing the sun vs. human battle in who will demolish the ice cream first. It just took me back to when I was a kid and I too would have my ice cream stolen by the sun. I think part of growing up is being taught tactics from fellow humans on how to improve your chances of winning the battle eg. certain licking techniques and just pure speed. When the family had moved on this was left. I felt sad for the poor girl because she had just missed out on a good part of her frozen (or not so much so...) afternoon tea. I just though that that pretty much summed up frozen delights, kids and heat. You can only imagine the evidence of defeat on her hands which she'd have to carry with her until she got home (unless her Mum had those handy wet wipes hidden away and in that case drama in my story is suddenly missing). never the less that poor girl still has much to learn 331/365
Lieutenant Ben Walborn turns the opposing solo jet number 6 into a tight right-hand turn and directly across the sun.
This coyness, lady, were no crime.
We would sit down, and think which way
To walk, and pass our long love’s day.

Exactly a year ago, I went on a picnic and got a massive sunburn across my shoulders. I still bear the uneven tan to this day. >___>;; This year I was smarter and forwent the sunblock and just covered up instead.
We met Søren and Louise in Århus on our way to Skagen. Maybee Søren was wearing sunblock on top of his head. Bastian likes it very much...
With a brain like mine it is far too commonplace for me to glance at something and see something that just isn't really there. Today's mental nugget was the kids' sunblock, which my brain saw this way. For the record it actually reads baby faces, but thanks to digital editing you get to see what I saw. Lucky you........
Adele Makeda's prepared- she's got, like, 250 SPF sunblock. So, bring on the sun!

Super Sexy Hot Tan is the secret to my corpse white skin. Thank you, Will Ferrell. You are awesome.
Shortly after this the spouse found a tick on his shirt and I announced it was time for us to leave.
Despite my protests, they found my truck and felt it needed a little something extra. That something was Sun-Block, Toilet Paper, and Owls. The sun-block was SPF 15, since, you know, it was night and you really don't need that much lotion to protect you from the Moon's harmful rays. The country club suffered a dire need for more Toilet Paper the next day for unknown reasons. And the owls just looked better on my roof. It was reported to me later that anyone who left the reception after us knew exactly where we went by the telltale bread-crumb-like pieces of paper that trailed behind me on the roads.
