Even with 50 sunblock on my scalp and face, mommy won't let me out without a hat. Daddy, on the other hand, needs one badly... check out that glare!
Although I'm old enough and usually smart enough to know better than to sit in the sun with out protection - I went to my son's football game Saturday and cooked - Oh well I thought it might go well with my "Skin" set.

To make a long story short, I have incredibly fair skin. I went to the water park on Wednesday (6/30/10) and forgot to put sunblock on my shoulders (what really sucks is that I had SPF 100 sunblock, so I literally wasted 11 bucks)! The result is the pictured 2nd degree burn on my left shoulder (yes, I'm wearing a bra, it's just a strapless one). The yellow clumps are the blisters. If you look to the left you'll see my tan line. I did do a little contrast work to more easily diagram the burn. The darker area around the blisters is also wrinkled and dead. The white is my unburned skin. Does anyone else think that this burn is shaped like Iraq?
