Car No.5 nears Snaefell summit - this car was rebuilt in 1970 with different windows - these apparently were replaced in 2003 to match the original design . 29/6/72.

The Summit Diner (2016). Based on the Summit Diner in Summit, New Jersey. I completed it this past weekend and it is currently on the way to The Morris Museum in New Jersey as part of an exhibit on New Jersey Diners. I am really happy with this piece and feel it represents some of my strongest work to date. 2016 has been a very strong creative year for me, actually. I could not have seen this piece through to its finished state without the graphics work of Rusty von Dyl or the LEGO brick printing of Tommy Armstrong and Elaine Armstrong at the Original Brickengraver. Huge thanks to each of you! Enjoy!

An ascent of Ben Vane in the Arrochar Alps. The normal "there and back" route from Inveruglas wasn't very inspiring to me so I decided to go from Butterbridge instead - up to the bealach with Beinn Ime, to the summit of Ben Vane, north along the ridge and back down the Glen Kinglas track.
