Sundogs highlight the circumference of a solar disk in the evening sky above the coastline at Clam Harbour Beach. The atmospheric phenomena of the disk and dogs is created by sunlight refracting through the droplets of water in the clouds. It's one of the more sublime occurrences in nature.

I know intense red sunrise photos work best on the internet. Oh well, I like the Venus belt even more! Here is one for you with intense blues and magentas. Don't chase the trend, do what you love.
Commentary.
Glen Cannich is an amazing, former, glacial valley
in the North-West Highlands.
Loch Craskie and its majestic forests
is a gentle introduction
to the sights that lie ahead.
But what an introduction!
Glassy pool through which
the River Cannich flows.
Contrasting golden Larch and Spruce forests.
From the shade of a deciduous shoreline
to the reflected colours of a blissful Autumn.
It captures the eye.
It captures the heart.
It captures the soul.
And it won’t let go!
Peace, perfect peace.
Clearing Storm
Half Dome and Bridalveil Falls
Yosemite National Park
After closely monitoring the weather for a possible clearing storm on an early January morning this year, I headed to Yosemite and arrived early afternoon. Tunnel view was still covered with thick clouds and the storm seemed to linger. As hours passed, our hope gained momentum as a small opening of light broke on the west. Slowly, the clouds parted, mist appeared, and fog descended on the valley. The clouds unveiled Half Dome and low fog caressed Bridalveil Falls. This is it! An incredibly amazing experience to witness the clearing storm at Yosemite National Park. Totally breathtaking!!!

It was another stunning sunset above Langcliffe In the Yorkshire Dales tonight, this location never seems to let us down.
Paria Wilderness has some distinct sandstone formations, coloration, and natural designs. It is by far one of my favorite areas to hike and explore.

Just a few people drag me out when I am stuck a little bit in my thoughts. A dear Flickr friend, who was away for a while but returned, does that to me just by being around. He's also the best to talk to. Thanx, man.
Another Mopar has popped up in Noe Valley. The pink sheet on the windshield is a tow-away warning you get when parked for longer than 72 hours.

These were taken on a bright early spring day in the late afternoon sun in 2013. The amazing reflections are caused by the reflections of fully sunlit and brightly painted floating houses in the background.
Somehow I only processed a few photos from that day and did not share any here on Flickr. "Sublime Submergence" and "Side Stroke" I am particularly happy about - I somehow missed them all together as well as "Profile On Colour". "A Chance Glance" I have had hanging on my wall for quite a while, though with different PP and crop. I believe this new version is much better. And THAT is why I never delete anything! haha Hope you enjoy. :))))
