This is my first piece and attempt to Saori Style weaving which is a form of free-style weaving created by a Japanese woman. Her Son built her a nice looking loom that portable.
I created this piece on my 20" wide Beka Rigid Heddle Loom. You can weave in this style with just about any loom. There are no rules and you can even use short pieces of yarn that are usually thrown out. The weaving locks the short pieces in.
