My parents, Evan and Addy right by The Skunk Train. This was during our families’ special outing up around Mendocino County. What was the special occasion? We were attending my cousin Jeff's wedding, which the ceremony and event was taken place at the Spring Ranch Mendocino in Little River, CA. He was getting married to Marybeth! Certainly, it's a wonderful time for us to have a big family reunion getaway to celebrate this special moment with them. Wishing you both a wonderful life together, filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. You two are a perfect match. I can't wait to see what the future holds for you two! Congrats, cuzz! Special outing taken place back in May 28-30, 2022. Aside from the wedding, we also explored places around Mendocino County, including The Skunk Train. We also had an airbnb around Caspar, CA, or just north of Mendocino, CA for us to gather together to eat, hangout, have fun and just simply relax. Speaking of relaxing, we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Fort Bragg, an IHG Hotel. Fast forward, we took the long way home, down CA-1 to take in the stunning ocean views and scenery. To end the trip with a bang, we ate at Nick's Cove around Marshall, CA for our late lunch or early dinner. The food was delicious and we also tried their amazing oysters. What a fun-filled, awesome family outing this was! Until next time, safe travels!

A stunning ocean view while hiking today here at Wilder Ranch State Park, located around the Santa Cruz County. It was me, my cousin, Khin, Hnin, Myo and Chris that went. The weather was quite sunny and warm this day, so it's perfect to head to the beach/ocean for a hike/stroll!

Wilder Ranch State Park, just north of Santa Cruz, has 34 miles of hiking, biking and equestrian trails winding through coastal terraces and valleys. Several restored buildings once belonging to the Wilder family are preserved. The 7,000 acre park was formerly a dairy ranch, owned and operated by the Wilder family from 1871 to 1969. The park has tours and living history demonstrations to help visitors explore the history of early ranchers and farmers along the Central Coast. Surrounding grounds include Victorian homes, gardens, and historic adobe. This region’s climate has a mild average of 50–70 degrees. Coastal weather is unpredictable, so wearing layered clothing is advised. Overall, the long trails and ocean views at Wilder Ranch make the area a favorite of hikers, equestrians and mountain bikers.

As the train continued its leisurely progress south it swung inland towards Anaheim and the overall aspect out of the panoramic windows changed from stunning ocean views and beautiful beaches to a distinctly more industrial hue. And to be fair – compared to the incredible coastline near Ventura and Carpentaria this bit of the track is definitely a bit ‘Mickey Mouse’, although of course this may be because at Anaheim there’s a connection to Disneyland. Stunning ocean views on the first day of September! Gotta love the color of the ocean here; reminds me of Hawaii or a tropical location! I was here with my parents at the time. What's the occasion? We were having a mini outing in celebration of my dad's b-day this day. This was at Carmel Beach located around Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA. This is one of our favorite beaches to visit here in California, or at least near home. We later went to eat our early dinner at Phil's Fish Market since it was on the way back.
