In 1928, a year after the Bridge of Lions was opened, this building was constructed to house the First National Bank and the offices of Mayor Herbert E. Wolfe. A stunning ocean view from their offices.
First National Bank was succeeded by Exchange Bank of Saint Augustine, then purchased by Jacksonville-based Atlantic National Bank of Florida in 1987, purchased again in 1998 by First Union National Bank of Charlotte, North Carolina, then in 2001, First Union announced it would merge with Winston-Salem based Wachovia Corporation, and most recently sold to Wells Fargo and Company in a deal that was completed on December 31, 2008. All of the Wachovia locations changed signs two and a half years after the Wells Fargo merger was negotiated. Sign ordinances within downtown St. Augustine being what they are, the blazing red and bright gold Wells Fargo logo was restricted to a small plaque at the front door — the larger sign on the west side of the main entrance facing the Cathedral being made using more subdued brown and brass colors. It is a truly gorgeous building with its unique red cap.

The last year the building was actually owned by a bank was 1992; when it was owned by FNB Properties Inc – a subsidiary of First Union National Bank. Many owners...same beautiful building.

Just soaking in this stunning ocean view... I always love it when the ocean is so sparkly like this! I was here with my parents at the time. What's the occasion? We were having a mini outing in celebration of my dad's b-day this day. This was at Carmel Beach located around Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA. This is one of our favorite beaches to visit here in California, or at least near home. We later went to eat our early dinner at Phil's Fish Market since it was on the way back. *At the foot of Ocean Avenue, Carmel Beach is one of the most iconic spots on California's Central Coast and is rated "One of America's Top Beach Towns." From morning to night Carmel Beach attracts visitors and locals alike to take in the majestic scenery and fun activities.
A family favorite for a lovely sunny afternoon is a nice stroll along Kalk Bay Harbour. Especially for young kids, it is a place where there is always something interesting and exciting to see. Watch their faces light up as they watch the seals swimming, playing in the water, and sunbathing. You can also enjoy seeing the fishing boats docking and the fish traders praising their catch. The sights, smells, and refreshing sea air are nothing less than spectacular. There are many traders in the area, selling a variety of interesting goods and there is always an incredible atmosphere when walking around Kalk Bay. The walk along the pier has to be topped off with a visit to one of the many cafés or restaurants to enjoy some traditional seaside fish and chips where you can look out over the stunning ocean views which can be observed from many of these establishments.

They are often in the most striking locations on rocky shores with stunning ocean views all around. They are, more often than not, wonderfully photogenic.
This is Peggy's Cove Lighthouse, aka Peggy's Point Lighthouse (built in 1915), one of Nova Scotia’s most well-known and photographed lighthouses in Canada.
Sunset and sunrise are the best time to visit Peggy's Cove, but if you want to have the lighthouse all to yourself, get there before the sun rises.
This was taken at sunset and for a change I didn't mind the tourists because they made this place look so lively.
I came back the next morning and had the lighthouse all to myself, you can see it => here ! 😊

The National Park is one of Sydneys recognised nature walks with stunning ocean views.
When I was in Denmark a week ago, I visited the Arken art gallery in a small suburb of Copenhagen called Ishøj (iss-hoi). Ishøj was clearly in need of a revamp, and with such stunning ocean views and flat expanses of land, when I came home I was inspired to build a house for Ishøj.
The original intention with this was to have a larger building, but that would have required a BrickLink order and I, filled with inspiration, couldn't wait and went ahead and built it all anyway. It's nice a flat, so it doesn't ruin the view for other Ishøj houses, and it's got a fully furnished interior too. What's not to like?

This was one of my first wedding orders that I took! I met the lovely couple I think about May last year and was just so excited to about creating a wedding cupcake tower!! Well the wedding date finally arrived and well I guess this tower is kind of special =)
The wedding was held at a beautiful venue out in wine country - Matakana. The Castle is a gorgeous place with stunning ocean views.
