Children entrust their precious stuffed animals with the Smithfield Branch Library and let them attend a sleepover. None of the stuffed animals got homesick during the night and called their kids to come get them...they were having too much fun!

Dec. 13, 2023: Dozens of stuffed animals are located in trees at the West end of Pepper Tree Playfield in Newbury Park, California. The placement of the toys is a local Christmas tradition that started at least three years ago.
We eat artichokes all year...even buy them by the case when they are available Spring to Fall!
I never bother to "groom" the pricks when it is just us- it is just more natural...
This is an ever-growing collection of stuffed animals that hang out in the front yard of a brownstone/townhouse in Prospect Heights Bklyn. I don't know if the owners add to it, or the neighborhood does, I just know that new friends show up from time to time.

Sometimes its nice to just relax and live like a toddler again...and when thats not possible, its nice to just relax and live vicariously through subliminal messages in their too cute clothing.... ;-) Sorry this is so late, still really sick but trying to catch up with editing the photos I took last week that I never posted.
Holishkes are cabbage leaves stuffed with meatballs in a tomato-based sweet-and-sour sauce. They are known by many different names (galuptzi, praakes, stuffed cabbage), and are made in many different ways, depending on where your grandmother came from.

The bandanna was my old dog's after one of her visits to the groomer. The stuffed dog was her "baby" because it looked similar to her.
It's been almost four years since we had to put her down, and I still miss her.
