Just playing with the camera settings on my phone. Curious as to how it would look. I think I may have found a fun winter time, not-much-to-photograph-outdoors activity.

Each floor of the Library offers a variety of study spaces. Some areas are dedicated to silent study. Look out for the signs which indicate what area you are working in.
This is an inking study using Adobe Ideas on the iPad. Ideas is vector based, so you can work without much concern for resolution. The live size slider makes it possible to do some tapered edges that come close to clean brushwork. It's weird having to use two hands to draw ( one on the size slider) but it's pretty comfortable. This is traced over a lo rez scan of a Buscema / Alcala panel in a Savage Sword of Conan comic. I wanted to see what kind of fidelity I could achieve with the iPad, so I used the source instead of my own idea. This is a lazy sunday morning experiment of about 45 min or so. I most likely won't bother to finish the background.

After editting the “Raw File of the Week” for week No. 13, I was inspired to produce a picture that showed a book and a pair of glasses in it. Sort of like someone was reading for a ling time then got tired and set the book and glasses down to rest.
It didn’t take long to come up with the ingredients – just grabbed my Bible and took my glasses off. The hard part was finding a place to actually take the picture. My house is NOT conducive to photo taking. I used a desk in my office and got a few shots off.
After the post processing, I named it “Study Time”. I think it fitting for a Sunday afternoon, don’t you?

Dịp lễ hội Halloween vừa qua tại Hệ thống Trường Mầm non Quốc tế KINDY CITY xuất hiện rất nhiều mụ phù thủy với bề ngoài có chút đáng sợ. Tuy nhiên, điều này không làm học trò ngại ngùng, ngược lại họ là tâm điểm yêu thương của các bạn nhỏ.
Tại Trương Định, khi “Teacher” Dung và Sarah với hình hài kỳ quái xuất hiện, học sinh toàn trường ùa vào ôm cô, xin kẹo, hôn cô thắm thiết không ngại những vết sẹo, màn nhện loang lổ trên mặt.
Trong khi đó, tuy kẹo bánh, thức uống ở KINDY CITY cơ sở Phan Xích Long được pha bởi cô giáo đóng vai “tên cướp biển ma quái” nhưng học trò vẫn chờ đợi được thưởng thức. Ăn uống xong, các con lại túm tụm bên “phù thủy chột mắt” do giáo viên nước ngoài nhập vai để cùng vui chơi, chụp ảnh.
Tại cơ sở Ngô Quang Huy, bà Tiên Hắc Ám Maleficent với tạo hình kiều diễm đã dành trọn vẹn sự chú ý, thiện cảm của học sinh toàn trường. Và những bộ xương đáng sợ, Ma-sơ Nun ác quỷ cũng không làm các thiên thần KINDY CITY Bình Tân ngại ngùng.
Hay những mụ phù thủy ở Gò Vấp, Cộng Hòa, với khay đầy dây rợ, màn nhện nhầy nhụa, mắt kính, mũ đen lạ hoắc nhưng các em vẫn nhận ra và làm trò hù dọa ngược lại các cô.
Là vì các con yêu mến cô, quen thuộc từ giọng nói, tiếng cười, cử chỉ ân cần và cảm nhận được sự an toàn tuyệt đối khi ở bên cô, nên cô với hình dáng nào, các con cũng dễ dàng nhận ra và bám lấy!
