This would be the reason for my recent lack of photos and attention to flickr.
Each stack is for one of the modules I am studying and the stacks actually go higher than is visible in this photo. Is it any wonder my head often feels ready to explode!!

Taken during the final days of writing up my PhD. Endless nights sat in front of the computer trying to get the barstard finished.
I dont miss my old house. I am glad I have moved.
This girl was about 9 feet away from me as I shot her with an old 200-400mm zoom. I liked the way the light was illuminating her bangs and the compression from the lens.
The art is waiting for wallspace. Ty purchased eight print from the Missed Connections series by Sophie Blackall (http://www.sophieblackall.com/) specifically for this room.
It took us nearly two years to figure what to do about the fireplace insert. We can't afford a gas fireplace right now, so it just needed to be closed off. I saw this in a design magazine and knew it was perfect for us. We found faux brick facade at Rona, cut it to size and painted it our trim colour. It's just sits behind the mantel. Yah!
A few weeks ago we finally "finished" renovating the living room and turning it into Ty's study. (I say "finished" because there are a few things to still do, like find new chairs, pillows, curtains, and we want to have built-in bookcases built in the corners on either side of the bay window.

“I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness because it shows me the stars.”
Hello,
Attached are the six photos from my study abroad semester, for honors
college elective credit.

A young monk studying at Wat Rajamontean, who was kind enough to let me take his photo. We had a quick chat, then I let him get back to his work.
"In Thailand and Burma, it is common for boys to spend some time living as a monk in a monastery. Most stay for only a few years and then leave, but a number continue on in the ascetic life for the rest of their lives." -Wikipedia

A little nook I made myself for studying during finals week.
Been behind on my flickr. I haven't updated my pro account and I'm kind of mad I lost a lot of my shots that were viewable on here. On the other hand, I've started a blog of all my recent shoots! I've put off photography for the time being to try and work a few more hundred dollars into my bank account to buy this 35mm f/1.4L. I'm sooo close and really can't wait to make the purchase.
