Hello,
I am a rising senior in the nursing program and honors college. Attached are pictures from my study abroad experience with the health professions in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic earlier this summer (May 25-June 12) required for honors college credit.

Recently a couple of Flickr commentors scolded me for my frequent use of non archival materials.... like the crappy notebook paper I love to draw on. So, maybe it's time to drag out the quality toys. :)
I have been quiet on flickr lately but working through a backlog of images and more to come shortly.
At the moment I am finishing my A-levels, and this is how I feel studying all day. Took forever to edit this, and I hope that I'll get better with Photoshop soon. | Facebook
The painting "The Magician" by René Magritte was my inspiration for this photo.

The guitars that sit, largely unused, in the corner of my study. I really need to practice more.
(And I really need to pull up that berber and put down hardwood.)
A three part study of my bike. I used my Vivitar 285HV with a blue gel as the back light and reflected it off the mirror for the key.
I also kept the shutter speed low to let in some subtle sunlight.
Jeremy knows Connor will work himself to death when he gets stressed so he makes sure to take care of his boyfriend!
Connor is studying to become a doctor and it's really important to him that he gets in to a good college.
Poetography... a weekly inspiration. This week's word is "Comfort" or any of it's synonyms...
The bench is in my neighborhood but I had to find a girl to sit on it...

The Erasmus University in Rotterdam. I was right next door at the HES for my studies, but often went for lunch at the university. Cheap, yet nice food ;-)
The sculpture you see here is unnamed, but people tend to call it 'Petri's Eggs', after the artist Petri who designed this work of art. It is a popular place to have your picture taken when you graduate or get married with a person you met at university!
UPDATE: the sculpture has been removed due to its bad maintenance status...
