A young monk studying at Wat Rajamontean, who was kind enough to let me take his photo. We had a quick chat, then I let him get back to his work.

A little nook I made myself for studying during finals week.
Been behind on my flickr. I haven't updated my pro account and I'm kind of mad I lost a lot of my shots that were viewable on here. On the other hand, I've started a blog of all my recent shoots! I've put off photography for the time being to try and work a few more hundred dollars into my bank account to buy this 35mm f/1.4L. I'm sooo close and really can't wait to make the purchase.

Texas and Pacific 4-6-0 #316 catches her breath on the trip from Palestine to Rusk, in the service of the Texas State Railroad. Her pause was prompted by a meet with an opposing motorcar excursion. I find this image particularly rewarding with delightful details in every corner. Of note, "Study #2" at the beginning of this album is of the same driving wheel, but out of service awaiting renewal.

ICAD # 35 for July 5, 2014: Nature Study. I love nature studies and I spent the day yesterday with a stack of napkins cutting out birds, butterflies, "nature stuff". Rubber stamp, fluid acrylics, torn ledger paper scrap, napkin images.
taken about an hour before my first half yearly HSC exam. I have been off school for two weeks and have missed a lot of lesson content etc. Needless to say I was stressing out a bit, so sitting outside and going over my notes with a coffee was just what I needed. That latte was fucking delicious also.
