"In Thailand and Burma, it is common for boys to spend some time living as a monk in a monastery. Most stay for only a few years and then leave, but a number continue on in the ascetic life for the rest of their lives." -Wikipedia

a lot of study time needed

Dear whom ever this may concern,

went abroad over the J-Term 2016. Please let me know if you have any

questions. Thank you for your time.

A little nook I made myself for studying during finals week.

Been behind on my flickr. I haven't updated my pro account and I'm kind of mad I lost a lot of my shots that were viewable on here. On the other hand, I've started a blog of all my recent shoots! I've put off photography for the time being to try and work a few more hundred dollars into my bank account to buy this 35mm f/1.4L. I'm sooo close and really can't wait to make the purchase.

This is a prep study for a future piece I'm planning on doing.

The Collaborative Research Centre TRR 181 focuses on the scientific study of energy transfers between the atmosphere and the oceans (e.g., how wind generates waves and how this energy is distributed within the ocean to make climate models more precise).

Innerfields has interpreted this graphically.

ICAD # 35 for July 5, 2014: Nature Study. I love nature studies and I spent the day yesterday with a stack of napkins cutting out birds, butterflies, "nature stuff". Rubber stamp, fluid acrylics, torn ledger paper scrap, napkin images.

Late blooms of lavender in my garden are photogenic subjects.

I like this study very much. Large window, airy and bright room with a very large desk.

This upload is mostly to show the interior of the Huis Bergh castle in 's-Heerenberg. The photos taken indoors weren't very well composed due to low light and my shaky hands. Still, they give you a sense of the various artefacts inside the ancient Dutch castle.

So this is what I'll be up to for the day. My exams start tomorrow and I'm trying to start my last minute cramming/prep for and exam in health Psychology.

For the rest of the week it will be a mad scramble to learn as much as I can in as short a space as I can for the rest of the exams so I may have some catching up to do when next Saturday comes around! I'll do my best to keep it up though. To anybody else who has exams at this time of year as well, good luck :)

This was taken with a 7D and a 50mm lens at 1.4. Camera was in manual at 1/125 shutter and iso 160, manually focused and with a canon 430exii 30 degrees to the right pointing up and at 1/64 power.

Thanks for looking :)
