Piano Hammers

Thinking of Diana Ross & Nile Rodgers on the title of this one.

Inside my grand piano and lit from the inside out.

Model shoot in Denver, September 23, 2023. Just following the rules of Susan Tuttle: Use the Rule of Thirds, Break the Rule of Thirds, if it's red, shoot it.

....For Macro Mondays - Theme Redux 2022- Pink

Getting this lighting was an accident. I was using a cereal box as a light modifier. I was going for a narrow slit of light and somehow got this. At first when I saw this on the back of the camera I was like what is going on here! And how the box was positioned. But as I was going through the photos I took, this caught my eye. I spent way to much time on this photo in post. I wanted to like it in color but it just didn't work. I took a break, came back worked on this for two minutes and finally got something I love! Finally getting something to work, ahh that's what it's about.

Sometimes I get frustrated and dont belive in my works, I think it happends to everybody now and then....thats life I think? Isn´t it so?

#6/125 Theme: Bars

An old spinning reel that I pulled out for this week's Macro Mondays theme - Reels. I quickly fell into 2001 mode, and the image is way too big. I didn't find many macro takes that motivated me, so I am going to keep looking...

A close up of Sandra G.

Focused stacked image I've been thinking of for some time now.

A hint of the upcoming collaboration.

Another shot used with one octodome strobe above and left of the apple.

This was lite from below using a speed lite and blue coloured gel. The bulb is sat on machined metal which the light passed though.

Manufactured around 1936, this camera belonged to my father-in-law and before that it belonged to his father-in-law. They both belonged to the same camera club and were very keen on photography.

The camera was very expensive when introduced, over $100. With it’s black enamelled cast metal body and elegant parallel thin metal lines the camera is a real beauty. It was designed by the graphic designer come product designer Walter Teague. The Bantam Special uses 828 roll film having a picture size similar to 35mm. Operating this camera is a joy, it has been taken care of, and built so well, that it still feels virtually new.

Like a magnet to steel, an empty box was never unoccupied on his watch.

DuMass was a big boy, at one point approaching 20 lbs and it was often comical to watch him try to fit himself into small boxes.

I never did figure out how he backed himself into this one, but he was quite proud and content with this particular lounging space.

Hope santa gets you everything you all wanted!

This was the best looking tulip we have grown this year. I've taken the image in the garden at night using one strobe light and a reflector.

Prompt: watercolor of an Exotic Shorthair cat sitting on a white sofa, looking at the camera with a serious expression. The cat has a grumpy face and is wearing a grumpy expression. The cat has a grey and black striped coat. The couch has a beige and white striped pillow on the left side. The background is a modern living room. The lighting is natural. The cat is the main focus of the image. The image is high quality and well composed. --ar 1:1 --v 7
