Did a shoot for old friends Her Name In Blood, did the shoot up in Tottenham Hale on the old marsh land! They are a great band to shoot

Shot whilst attending a glamour shoot seminar led by Jon Gray at Parks Cameras in Burgess Hill.

I couldn't find the type of sandal that I really wanted. I got sick of paying $100 for sandals that were just kind of what I wanted. So I decided to design my own line of sandals called Unshoes.

These images are all about playing with translucency. The leaf has been placed on a piece of glass put between two tressles. A soft box is used to illuminate the leaf from below, with metering for the light, not the leaf.

I have had a lot of fun with these and will now try a few different scenarios.

These are nasturtiums that I shot on a table top studio set up with multiple lighting. The main light was a monolight in a soft box. I metered the exposure using a hand held meter. Contax Aria, Zeiss 80-200mm F4 lens, Tiffen 81A filter, Tiffen +1 close up lens, Fuji Provia 100F slide film.

The second series of shots with Kirsti, using my red sari fabric.

I decided to experiment with studio lighting a bit. Rather than deal with a human being, I thought Barbie would make a nice stand in. I'll do Ken next I guess. Strobist details: 1/8 power on a Canon 580EXII with a soft box simulating a 30" x 45" softbox. The center of the softbox is about eye level. Softbox is more or less on camera axis.

Day 12. More artificial lighting. Worked on some errors, unfortunately, Instagram only works with srgb color space, so not all colours are available :(

This is a 1 light setup.

Day 22. More games with the Godox SL60 light. And fire!

Photo editing style!

A project for my studio lighting class. This hasn't been manipulated in photoshop, all was done in camera with gels on lights and lens.

Esta fue mi toma favorita, durante la practica del curso de iluminacion que nos dio Enrique.

This is my Mamiya C330. I thought it would be suitable for my product photography attempts. I used three small Nikon flashes, a reflector, and my Nikon D600 with a 35-70 mm f2.8 NIKKOR lens..

So proud of my first foray into electricity! Wired my first plug. Then wired the other end of the cable into the light fitting. Woot! Full spectrum lighting for the studio in winter. Now I need to wire up the 2nd one.
