i am making a small studio in my kitchen for still life work and ebay product shots. have to make some money!

now, i've never been a creative photographer. i am pretty good and see what is around me, but starting with a blank slate and make an image from scratch is not easy for me.

so this will be a challenge.

what has been fun is garage-sales sailing!

this is sort of a pile of some of the stuff i've bought.

then i looked at the stuff i was going to sell on ebay - my dad's stuff from the 50s and old collectibles.

well heck, i have another pile of stuff there.

so shoot first, then sell.

this is a very basic - read "cheap"- lighting setup. the kitchen has one window which has lovely light but i definitely need more light to make good pics.

Trying out a few new photography techs with studio lighting, a mixture between creatmedgraphy :)

I was anxious to get some practice in with my new studio equipment. I didn't have any human models handy, so my dogs had to step up to the plate!!

whom i was angry and threw tantrum to while she waited for me at the gate after i ended my first day of primary school cause i thought she purposely arranged for me to see the school dentist..

who....

..... is always there whenever i was sad or whenever i was happy.. always looking at the photographs that i took.. always asking where am i .. what time am i coming home... staying up late till i get home.. opens the door for me... who always helped me with anything without asking for anything in return... who modelled for my assignments time and again without even saying a word...

she is also a best friend.. who i can share anything and everything with..

I love you mum, more than anything and anyone else. ♥
