This is the result that you get when you have a Sunday afternoon, some studio space, a make-up artist, some models and a couple of cameras! Really fun day playing around and learning more about studio lighting.

This is my other nephew Danny, he looks so mature in this photo! Other than the sensor dust I really like it
so maybe they're angel wings, I don't know. But she was watching a bird outside the studio window on the sidewalk and started flapping like a bird. So I remembered these and asked if she wanted to be a bird. Of course she did!!
These three images represent experiments with shutter speeds. The left image was shot with the max sync speed of 250 on a Canon 40D using the 24-105 L4.0 lens. Two Alien Bees at 45 degrees left and right using pocket wizards were the source. The hair is still in motion.
The center image, using the same setup as above was set to shutter speed of 320. Note the shutter drag.
The right image used the same camera/lens. The lighting came from two 580EX II's off camera 45 degrees left and right triggered by an ST-E2 in the high sync mode. The shutter speed was 800. The hair is "stopped action"
The third series of shots with Kirsti, using one of my feather masks and a short cape - yes, I love props.....
