The Adventurers

Well !! It has been quiet some time since I did some theme based portraits, due to crazy work schedule.

Yesterday , I decided to capture this theme with my son.

Gopi, the cat was not in the original idea, he jumped on the table in the last moment and gave me a great pose for a second.

I was able to capture the moment.

Lens: Canon EF 135mm f/2L USM on Canon EOS 5D Mark IV.

Light: Large clamshell setup with the Elinchrom ELC 1000 through a Mola Setti from the front-top-side, which creates the shaping contrast in her face. One Elinchrom ELB 400 with Action Head through a beauty dish with sock from the low-front, to fill in some shadows a little bit. Two Elinchrom ELC 500 lights through dishes with grids and barn doors from the left-back and right-back, as global rim lights. I measured the light with the Sekonic L-758DR.

Wicked Weasel One Piece from Behind: Trying some swimsuit photography in October? It's getting to the point of winter to wish for summer.

Sometimes happy accidents occur while taking shots in the studio. I decided to remove the outfit I was wearing for my Fremen/Duke shot and some pictures came out blurry while doing self portraits (not sure why) playing with the photo out of frustration to see if it was salvageable turns out I managed to get a bit of an "sfumato" effect similar to that one used by El Greco, hence the name...
