The main meeting space, and where we will host wine & cheese "preview parties" for our wedding clients so they can see their photos for the first time.
I'm going to hang a curtain over the doorway at the top of the steps to separate the meeting space from the studio shooting space.

Marina thought the new room would just be a studio space for her to work on her music, but then where would Violet put up all her posters?? Vi's lucky to have such a patient sister.
I've been in this particular studio since January of 2006. I've been in this building since 2004, when I started with a much smaller studio.
Sometimes you need to totally change things around to get that shot of newness again.
So, starting at the end of last week, I decided I'd do a big flip of the studio. Everything on one side would go to the other and vice versa.
What I didn't realize is that this is how I should have set the studio up back in 2006. The end that had up until last week been used for computers and printers and stuff is a PERFECT shooting area with no obstructions. I'm a little shocked that I didn't think of it sooner and wonder why it took me seven years to realize it.
The move is pretty much done, just a few small things left but the studio is pretty much back up and going.
Here are two shots of the new layout, which I'm enjoying immensely. The studio also feels much larger now.
I also can't believe the amount of crap that one person can save up over seven years. I had a giant loading cart full of trash. Crazy.

Managed to get around to getting a frame and adding this lovely piece of Uberkraaft lushness up on the studio wall at home - next to some great company in the form of Mr Kimmings - all I need now is to get my hands on a piece from Andy Gosling to complete the 3 first scribblers I met on Flickr a year ago.

while painting AFP's tarot card (stabbed by swords and drifting in a pool of her own blood) it is helpful to be able to look up and see these two paintings: one of Amanda, and one of Eve holding a sword whilst standing in a pool of blood,....
hmmmmmm...........
I spent the weekend rewiring my home studio, reducing the mass of 'spaghetti' wiring to something more manageable, courtesy of e-bay yielding up a midi interface and some wiring looms.
Now, this activity ranks with one of the most boring tasks there is, so you take any distraction you can... one such is to borrow a nearby digital camera (thanks Ronet) and take lots of unnecessary close-ups of the stuff that’s been literally been in your face all day...
...voila....

SuperProducer E-Dubb's birthday bash at LightSpace Studios. E-Dubb (aka Eric Diaz) has produced the works of Papoose, Jadakiss, and Bun B.
More information about him can be found here and here (Youtube interviews). And in this online interview he did with Rago Magazine. His Myspace page is located here.
they won't let you take photos in the studio, but it is very cool. You can see where he created different works. Also, in his house there's an amazing fish print from a huge fish they caught. Just amazing.
That was the name of the workshop that i have organized here in my country! I admit it .. those ones is my prefered workshops. I got others too but not so lovely that that one. Maybe because of such a beautifull models? Oh no ... that has to be something else.
