The main meeting space, and where we will host wine & cheese "preview parties" for our wedding clients so they can see their photos for the first time.
I'm going to hang a curtain over the doorway at the top of the steps to separate the meeting space from the studio shooting space.
Fortunately, my new dresser has a shelf, but for now on I don't have place to put my art in my studio!
Two lights on this one - one behind and the other overhead - this glass is plastic and still intact ;-), but does not have the crispness of real glass - now need to work on how to get it sharper. To get real action need to turn the light down to a very low setting and the camera was at F20, so will play around with the ISO (was 100) and the depth of field as well. This was a plastic glass to allow me to experiment without any more breakages -;). Next have too figure out how to use the motion sensor - but need an extension for Tiggertrap to camera, so I can position nearer the subject.
just got these drawings back- swapped for some new work in the transformer flat file.the two drawings on the left have been really popular online. they'll be up in a show this fall and then listed online.
This is my packing and shipping "department" I created in my studio closet. I reused an old table top (that my husband cut down to fit) placed on top of an aquarium stand we weren't using.
I've got tissue, boxes, book mailers, paper cutter, digital scale. The bin holds smaller stuff: tape, business cards, labels, pens, etc.

Here's a little behind-the-scenes preview of a band shoot i did in the studio yesterday. More later once i sort through them.
This small piece of stoneware features a camouflage-like glaze and is by an unknown potter, marked 196 SP '66. It was found in Columbus, Wisconsin. I've got another piece with this same mark, purchased in Madison almost one year prior, shown here:
