This is the work of the Graphic Design 2 students at Taiyuan Normal University in Taiyuan City, Shanxi, China. Their work is impressive. They are excellent at package design, have an a mazing sense of color and clearly understand the language of visual metaphors. We are happy to be collaborating with them this semester.

Interdisciplinary Book and Paper Arts MFA

This was one of my contributions to Scan Anything Day. Things with a certain amount of translucence work best, I think.

We were assigned to read a poem and then photograph an aspect or deeper meaning of the poem. I found this assignment hard, so I ended up photographing a visual pun based on one of the lines in the poem.
