During the Trade Mission to China, Advanced Education Minister Andrew Wilkinson witnessed the signing of a renewed partnership agreement for the Dual Degree Program in Computing Science between Simon Fraser University and Zhejiang University in China.

The signing of a renewed partnership agreement between Simon Fraser University and Zhejiang University for the Dual Degree Program in Computing Science took place during the Trade Mission to China; as witnessed by Advanced Education Minister Andrew Wilkinson.

 

The Minister also announced funding for BC-Zhejiang Excellence Scholarships.

"The kids at the school where I volunteered didn’t usually smile for portraits but before I took the picture I tickled her so she would laugh. She was giggling while I took her picture. Like all the kids there she wanted to see the picture after I took it. I think that was more exciting to them than actually getting their picture taken. I loved seeing how happy she and the other kids were."
