Here you see some impressions taken from an old, ruinous house in prerow. I like it to play with those morbide structures ...
Mallock Memorial clock tower situated by Torquay's Harbourside, pictured as one of Stagecoach's Hop 12 Scanias passes around it.
The structure was designed by John Donkin and built out of Bath stone and was completed in 1902, it was erected to comemorate Richard Mallock who had died 2 years before, and was one of the major land owners in the area at the time, owning much of the Cockington area and residing at the now tourist location, Cockinton Court

Bauhaus Dessau, Germany - architect Walter Gropius, 1925-'26
"The basic structure of the Bauhaus consists of a clear and carefully thought-out system of connecting wings, which correspond to the internal operating system of the school. The technical construction of the building... is demonstrated by the latest technological development of the time: a skeleton of reinforced concrete with brickwork, mushroom-shaped ceilings on the lower level, and roofs covered with asphalt tile that can be walked upon. The construction area consisted of 32,450 cubic meters and the total cost amounted to 902,500 marks. Such an economical achievement was possible only due to the assistance of the Bauhaus teachers and students, which at the same time, of course, could be viewed as an ideal means of education." - from Udo Kultermann. Architecture in the 20th Century.
Formal Structures is a minimalist project that shows the ephemeral nature of the plant as opposed to minerals without the presence of these.
The structure is anchored by a three-story, 437-foot (133 m) square base. This square base houses offices most frequently visited by the public. The second floor (main floor) is home to the Nebraska Supreme Court, the Nebraska Court of Appeals, and the Nebraska Legislature.
