Description: Small circular drystone-built structure (int. diam. 1.7m; H 1.4m) of beehive-type construction, roofed internally by a single slab. Low lintelled entrance at SW (H 0.45m; Wth 0.5m). Richardson (1939, 34) recorded a 'small chimney just above it'. (Weir 1989, 10). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.

With my back to the ocean looking at the beach and the bits and pieces making up the shoreline. Just loved the structure and shape of that sand rock.

These tent-like structures cover almost all of the villa, which is under conservation and repair. Originally these tents did not have ventilation, so many of the mosaics deteriorated even further by the heat and humidity.

I shot this round the corner to the college, i forget what the name of the street is but, when i was walking past i noticed the interesting layout of the sign post and the windows behind it, so i sat and waited for someone to walk past as it would break up the lines and give the image some needed curves.
