MEGATRO provide every type of railway steel structure for every country railway station. These projects cover many design or calculation for project budget and efforts. After fabrication all steel structure are delivered to the galvanizing facility to be Hot Dip Galvanized. These steel structures are processed through the facility by Caustic Cleaning, Pickling, and then Fluxing. These strict procedures insure years of maintenance free steel structures. If clients have other requirements, we can paint them or other finish.

Shortly after 3pm (12/14/07) Naugatuck Fire was dispatched for a possible structure fire on Grand Ridge Rd. The Eastside Engine reported a large smoke tower in the area as they started out of their quarters. At that point Box 35 was struck to recall all available off duty personnel. Upon arrival the Deputy Chief reported a 2.5 story wood dwelling with heavy fire showing from the first and second floor. Engine 4 laid a feeder into the scene while the ladder crew set up. Engine 3 hooked into the 5000 gallon fire suppression cistern at the corner of Farmdale Road to pump it's water supply to Engine 4 and the Ladder 1, in addition mutual aid tankers were requested from Middlebury, Oxford, and Beacon Falls Volunteers. The fast moving fire fanned by the strong wind over took the structure and as the water was quickly exhausted before the first tanker could arrive. As the water supply was re-established it was determined that the structure was beginning to collapse so the operation was changed to a defensive operation only. The fire was brought under control after approximately an hour and a half, but the end results was unfortunately a total loss. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
