13. un 14. jūlijā no Rīgas ostas uz Gaisa spēku aviācijas bāzi Lielvārdē lidoja vairāki ASV bruņoto spēku helikopteri.

 

Lai atbalstītu iniciatīvu „Strong Europe” un operāciju „Atlantic Resolve”, Latvijā ir ieradušies vairāk nekā 60 karavīru no ASV 501.aviācijas pulka 3.bataljona un pieci helikopteri UH-60 „Black Hawk”. ASV karavīri trenēsies kopā ar Nacionālo bruņoto spēku karavīriem un piedalīsies starptautiskajās militārajās mācībās.

 

Pēc Krievijas veiktās Krimas aneksijas 2014. gada pavasarī un agresijas Ukrainas austrumos ASV sāka mācību operāciju „Atlantic Resolve”. Operācijas mērķis ir apliecināt ASV nepārtraukto ieguldījumu NATO dalībvalstu kolektīvajā drošībā, veicinot mieru un stabilitāti Baltijas valstīs un Polijā. Operācija ir izvērsta arī Rumānijā un Bulgārijā.

ASV Armijas Eiropā vadītajās starptautiskajās militārās mācībās “Allied Spirit VI”, kas notiek no 8.līdz 31.martam Hohenfelsā, Vācijā piedalās aptuveni 500 Latvijas karavīru ar 130 militārās tehnikas vienībām, tai skaitā 30 kaujas izlūkošanas kāpurķēžu bruņumašīnas. Tā ir līdz šim lielākā Nacionālo bruņoto spēku iesaiste mācībās ārvalstīs.

Task Force War Eagle under the command of 1st Squadron, 2d Cavalry Regiment crossed the border from Romania to Bulgaria July 18, 2017 for the Dragoon Guardian convoy to continue on for more Saber Guardian 17 exercises. Saber Guardian 17 is the largest Black Sea Region exercise this year with 25,000 military personnel from 22 allied and partner nations participating in training in Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria. Turpinās ASV Armijas Eiropā vadītās starptautiskās militārās mācības “Allied Spirit VI”, kurās Latvijas Nacionālo bruņoto spēku Sauszemes spēku kājnieku brigādes štābs uzņēmies brigādes, ko veido karavīri no 10 valstīm, vadību. Mācības norisinās līdz 31.martam, tajās piedalās ap 2770 karavīru no 12 valstīm – ASV, Kanādas, Čehijas, Igaunijas, Francijas, Ungārijas, Vācijas, Itālijas, Maķedonijas, Latvijas, Nīderlandes un Slovēnijas.

More than 260 U.S. paratroopers participated in a multinational airborne jump June 3 near Sainte-Mere-Eglise to commemorate the airborne assaults of D-Day. This year marks the 74th anniversary of Operation Overlord, the Allied invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944 -- most commonly known as D-Day. An epic multinational amphibious and airborne operation, D-Day forged partnerships and reinforced transatlantic bonds that remain strong today. Overall, U.S. service members from 20 units in Europe and the U.S. will participate in events and ceremonies May 30-June 7, 2018, in almost 40 locations throughout the Normandy region of France as part of Joint Task Force Normandy 74.

Mācību aktīvā fāze norisinās gan Ādažu poligonā, gan ārpus poligona Rucavas, Nīcas, Grobiņas, Priekules, Durbes, Aizputes, Skrundas, Vaiņodes, Saldus un Limbažu novadā.

On June 11, 2018 Latvian soldiers together with Canadien led eFP battlegroup soldiers, US 2nd Cavalry regiment and US Army cadets train together in exercise “Saber Strike 2018” as defending force; the training takes place in Skrunda region, including Nīkrāce, Lēnas, Tukums and Rudbārži.

 

Combat training is conducted at the Ādaži Training Area and outside the training area, in Rucava, Nīca, Grobiņa, Priekule, Durbe, Aizpute, Skrunda, Vaiņode, Saldus and Limbaži districts.

 

Saber Strike, led by United Stated Army Europe, is an annual joint training of land and air forces, which began on 2010.

11.jūnijā Nacionālo bruņoto spēku Sauszemes spēku Mehanizētās kājnieku brigādes karavīri kopā ar Kanādas vadītās daudznacionālās kaujas grupas karavīriem, ASV 2.kavalērijas pulka karavīriem un kadetiem mācībās “Saber Strike 2018” aizsardzības kaujā virzījās cauri Skrundas novadam, tai skaitā Nīkrācei, Lēnām, Tukumam, Rudbāržiem.

 

Mācību aktīvā fāze norisinās gan Ādažu poligonā, gan ārpus poligona Rucavas, Nīcas, Grobiņas, Priekules, Durbes, Aizputes, Skrundas, Vaiņodes, Saldus un Limbažu novadā.

On June 11, 2018 Latvian soldiers together with Canadien led eFP battlegroup soldiers, US 2nd Cavalry regiment and US Army cadets train together in exercise “Saber Strike 2018” as defending force; the training takes place in Skrunda region, including Nīkrāce, Lēnas, Tukums and Rudbārži.

 

Combat training is conducted at the Ādaži Training Area and outside the training area, in Rucava, Nīca, Grobiņa, Priekule, Durbe, Aizpute, Skrunda, Vaiņode, Saldus and Limbaži districts.

 

Saber Strike, led by United Stated Army Europe, is an annual joint training of land and air forces, which began on 2010.

The 2018 US Army Europe Ball took place at Schloss Biebrich in Wiesbaden, Germany on 13 October 2018. The event commemorated 100 years of the US Army in the Rheinland. Attendees were addressed by US Army Europe Commanding General, Lt. Gen. A German infantry soldier fires an MG-3 machine gun during training leading up to the Saber Strike 16 exercise. This year at Saber Strike, German infantry units will participate in the field training exercise White Sword in Lithuania, enhancing interoperability with U.S., Danish and Lithuania land forces. Saber Strike 16, a long-standing U.S Army Europe-led cooperative training exercise, will take place from May 26 to June 21 across Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
